Mark James a.k.a KNG, is a music producer/musician from Toronto, Canada who has been
working in the industry for the past 10 years. Starting as a music director and a pianist for artist,
lead him to becoming a session musician for Juno and Grammy nominated producers in the
GTA. KNG, dove into production heavily after being accepted into The Remix Project: 6.0 , who’s
programs and services serve youth who are trying to enter into the creative industries. This is
were his production abilities combined with being a musician and created the distinct sound that
is KNG.

KNG has produced: Hiphop, Dance, Funk, Pop, World music, and R&B. His knowledge of music
theory and musicianship give him the tools to create many genres of music. In addition to playing
piano he has knowledge of guitar, drums and percussion.

You can find KNG at a studio, rehearsal, or a meeting making dreams tangible or offering a
helping hand somewhere. He wants to keep improving on creating the best music for the
moments we need them.
